Mary-Kate Olsen, born June 13, 1986 was an American actor. She's also a fashion designer, writer producer, entrepreneur and writer. Together with the twins of her sisters Ashley Olsen, she co-founded the luxury brand The Row and Elizabeth & James as well as less expensive fashion labels Olsenboye & StyleMint. Olsen began acting on her own as an adult until 2012. Elizabeth Olsen is her older sister. Mary Kate was born in Sherman Oaks Los Angeles California. She is the daughter of Jarnette 'Jarnie, an individual manager, and David Dave Olsen who is a mortgage lender and real estate developer. Olsen has a twin sibling known as Ashley and three half-siblings born from her father's wedding to a second woman: Trent, Elizabeth Olsen and her older brother Trent. Olsens' parents split from each other in 1996. Madison Pettis, a Disney star from the late 1990s until the in the mid 2000s.
